How does a booking move through CatsOnly?
CatsOnly keeps the request, messages, payment, care dates, and follow-up in one booking record so owners and sitters can see what has been agreed.
Main stages
A typical booking moves through these stages:
- Request sent. The owner sends dates, service type, cat details, and care notes to a sitter.
- Sitter response. The sitter accepts, declines, asks questions, or proposes a different price before payment.
- Meet and greet. If requested, the owner and sitter arrange a free meet and greet before care starts.
- Owner payment. After acceptance, the owner pays through the CatsOnly booking flow.
- Care confirmed. A paid booking is ready for the agreed care dates.
- Care in progress. The booking moves through the care period.
- Completed. After the booking ends, review and support options may be available where relevant.
Keep communication in CatsOnly
Use booking messages for practical details and follow-up. This keeps the care context attached to the booking if either person later needs to check what was agreed.
If something changes
Use the supported booking actions where available. A sitter can propose a new price before payment, and cancellation actions appear where the booking state allows them.
If the care needs to run for longer than the original dates, create an additional booking request for the new time period. This keeps the extra care, payment, and cancellation context separate and easier to review.
If the change is not supported for that booking, open the booking and select Report concern, or use the support page if you cannot access the booking.
