How do I find a sitter?

Use CatsOnly search to find local sitters, then compare services, availability, rates, and profile details before sending a booking request.

Search for a sitter

What to check

Before sending a request, review:

  • Services offered, such as 1 visit per day, 2 visits per day, or overnight care.
  • Service area and whether the sitter covers your location.
  • Availability for the dates you need. Search filters use this to show sitters who may be able to help.
  • Profile details, experience, photos, and reviews where available.
  • Rates and any practical notes about the care they provide.

If your cat needs specific care

Include the important details before the sitter accepts, especially medication timing, access arrangements, feeding routines, litter routines, or anything that changes how long each visit will take.

If a sitter can help but the care needs more time than the listed service normally covers, agree the details in messages before they accept. The sitter can propose a new price before payment if the request needs a different price.

If you cannot find a match

Try adjusting your dates, service type, or search area. If the care is specialist or time-sensitive, read profiles carefully and contact sitters whose experience looks closest to what your cat needs.
